Speaking on Wednesday, the analyst claimed that Raila has remained on the bad side thanks to his stinginess, which might see him once again suffer a loss under Deputy President William Ruto who is known for his generosity.

He said that Raila, unlike Ruto, is yet to come to terms with the fact that God rewards those who give to his course more, an art the DP has perfected, thanks to his charitable contributions to churches and other initiatives.

"I have repeatedly said that Raila is stingy, he never gives. But God rewards those who stand with him more. The more you give, the more you will receive," he said on KBC English Service's The Big Conversation, Wednesday morning.

Weda said that Raila's continued defiance of this advise has seen him lose to people who have done close to nothing for the nation, for instance, President Uhuru Kenyatta who is not known for having fought for anything in the country.

"Raila has done everything including being detained for years and fighting for many things but he was again crushed by Uhuru who has done absolutely nothing. Maybe the father. Uhuru crushed him and will lead for 10 years," he added.

Raila's four shots at the top seat have all been futile and has blamed rigging for three of the bids, one under former President Mwai Kibaki and two under Uhuru.

He has remained silent on his plans for the 2022 elections.
