Opposition leader Raila Odinga's lawyer Donald B Kipkorir offered advise to the Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi.

This comes hours after the CS was groomed with the new role by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The flamboyant Nairobi based lawyer took on  Facebook where he highlighted five-point advice to Matiang'i.

He first lauded Interior Cs on his appointment as a 'super' Minister.

He told him that the assignment before was of national adding that there was no room for failure.

He appealed to CS Matiang'i to portray allegiance and loyalty to the appointing authority the presidency.

He further urged him to be respectful to his colleagues in the cabinet, noting that they have unique opportunity to uplift him.

In his new capacity  Dr Matiang'i is tasked to chair a key committee on the implementation of development programmes, whose membership includes all Cabinet secretaries, the Attorney General and Head of the Public Service.

According to the executive order issued on Monday, Dr Matiangi will report directly to President Uhuru Kenyatta and will oversee the implementation of all government projects.

He will be deputized by Treasury CS Henry Rotich.
