It is finally new dawn for Baby Pius Mutula, a 14-month-old boy from Mau Narok suffering from groin tumour.
This is after a former aspirant for the Nakuru East Town constituency, Caleb Kung'u offered to meet the medical costs of the minor who has since been admitted at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH), Eldoret for specialized treatment.
On Monday, May 27, this Hivisasa contacted the boy's mother Purity Mutula who happily revealed that she was with his son at MTRH where he is being attended to by doctors.
"My son has been admitted at MTRH Eldoret. A well-wisher from Nakuru offered to help. I will live to glorify God," Purity said excitedly.
She further revealed that Kung'u visited them at Mau Narok Hospital in Nakuru after learning of her appeal through Hivisasa
"I was shocked when someone called me to meet him at the Mau Narok Hospital reception. The call became a life changer for my son as it was a well-wisher who took us to MTRH," she added.
At the moment, Baby Pius has been admitted at the Eldoret's Referral Hospital ward 5 for children's waiting to undergo an operation. His surgery is scheduled for June 2.
Before getting assistance, Baby Pius had been staying at Mau Narok Hospital where his bills shot up to over Sh300,000.
