Deputy President William Ruto and Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago on Friday led mourners from Uasin Gishu County and beyond to pay their last tributes to Mzee Paul Kibet Teigut as his remains were being laid to rest at his home in Chepsaita village in Turbo constituency.
Mzee Teigut was the father to Ruto’s right hand man and personal aide Farouk Kibet.
Politicians and leaders allied to DP Ruto came in large numbers to deliver their messages of condolence to the bereaved family.
Jubilee governors, Members of Parliament,Ssenators and Members of County Asembly (MCAs) were present.
Teigut was described as an industrious and peace loving man who left behind three widows.
