Musa Juma a Muslim leader in Kisii county while speaking on Monday in Kisii town said the war of words between the two high profile leaders is a national shame.

"It is shameful for Ruto and Raila to continue throwing insults to each other because of the ongoing war on graft. I'm appealing to the two leaders to consider uniting and work together in the fight against graft," he stated.

He said Kenyans don't want to hear top leaders exchanging insults.

Mr Musa challenged to Raila Odinga and DP Ruto to embrace peace and tolerate each if at all corruption will come to an end.

"Corruption will not end if Ruto and Raila will continue throwing words to each other. This is not time leaders should blame each. Raila agreed to shake hands with President Uhuru Kenyatta to unite Kenyans but, what we are seeing is the opposite. Ruto should join fully in the war against graft," he noted.
