1.  Unrealistic goals

Many people live in the dream world. They set goals knowing very well they are not realistic. Be realistic when it comes to setting the goals you would like to attain in the long run. Ask yourself whether the goals are achievable before setting them.

2. Too many goals

You need to have a reasonable number of goals for the New Year. Do not create a list as if the world is ending soon. Long lists are not achievable. Create goals that you know very well you will accomplish before the end of 2019.

3. Vagueness

Always ask yourself whether the goals you are setting are measurable. Goals that cannot be measured are not easy to achieve. The best goals are the ones you can sit down and evaluate. Find out whether you will be able to determine your success rate when setting the goals.
