Borabu MP Ben Momanyi has asked politicians to desist from dragging Kenyans into endless politics, arguing that time has come for them to deliver on their promises.
Two rival camps have emerged with Tangatanga group rallying for Deputy President William Ruto while Kieleweke team backing partnership between Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
And on Friday, Mr Momanyi dismissed the two groups, arguing that they are consuming a lot of time for the people of Kenya who deserve development.
"It's time for us to work for the people. These endless politics will even have a negative impact on our economy. We are losing a lot of time engaging in shenanigans," he said.
"Whether Tangatanga or Kieleweke, I have no time for such politics. I am only focused to work for the people of Kenya and Borabu at large. We must focus on delivery."
The second term Wiper legislator said he will however not have any problem hosting the rival camps in his constituency, adding that they are all welcome to help him in developing Borabu.
"I don't have a problem hosting these people. This Friday, I will be hosting DP William Ruto. I know some will say I have joined Tangatanga but that's not the case. I will work with everybody."
At parliament, Momanyi is Parliamentary Service Commission member and represents the Wiper party. He has declared interest to succeed Governor John Nyagarama.
