Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Director of Communications Philip Etale has said that President Uhuru Kenyatta's tour of Uasin Gishu county will be interesting.
Uhuru is expected to tour the Rift Valley Textile factory, otherwise known as Rivatex, which is located in Kapseret Constituency on Friday.
It is worth noting that area MP Oscar Sudi has been among the leading critics of the president lately, as a result of the widening rift between him and his deputy William Ruto.
Etale now says that it will be interesting to watch the MP's behaviour while hosting President Uhuru, considering that he has repeatedly fired vicious shots at Uhuru in the past few months.
He wondered if Sudi will confront the president and echo the remarks he has been making in funerals, claiming that he has been acting under the influence of alcohol.
"Tomorrow President UK will be at Rivatex in Kapseret Constituency represented by Oscar Sudi. Will he have the guts to tell the president what he has been saying at funerals under the influence of liquor," tweeted Etale on Friday.
Sudi who is a close ally of the DP has taken issue with Uhuru's relationship with Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) boss Raila Odinga, after their March 2018 truce.
Speaking earlier in the year, the MP claimed that the plan is aimed at victimising Ruto ahead of the 2022 presidential elections, challenging the Head of State to come clean on his plans with Raila.
He also accused Uhuru of failing to defend Ruto from the many corruption allegations levied against him, threatening to implicate Uhuru in graft scandals.
Responding to Sudi during the Devolution Conference in March, Uhuru dared him to walk to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) offices and make a formal complaint.
