Senior counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has found himself on the firing line hours after he attacked President Uhuru Kenyatta on Twitter.
In a tweet, Ahmednasir questioned the President's speed in gazetting Macharia Njeru who was elected last week as a male member of Judicial Service Commission.
He noted that Uhuru's actions raised eyebrows as it took months for Justice Mohamed Warsame to be named in the commission.
He likened Kenya to an animal farm where those who hailed from Central Kenya were favoured compared to others from other regions.
"It took H.E UHURU a day to Gazette Macharia's election to the JSC. It took a court order and 9 months for Justice Mohamed Warsame to be appointed to the JSC...Kenya is an animal farm where the PIG from central Kenya is superior to the CAMEL qfrom NFD..," he tweeted.
In another tweet, he referenced to Justice David Majanja who was elected to the JSC in February to represent judges and Magistrates and is yet to be gazetted.
A number of Kenyans online slammed Ahmednasir over the remarks arguing that he was a beneficiary of the inequalities and favouritism in Kenya's society.
They said that the lawyer was not genuine after having been a lead counsel in defending President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election at the Supreme Court.
