Nandi Governor Stephen Sang has vowed to reclaim grabbed land despite the ongoing debacles surrounding his latest conduct.
In his official Facebook page, the governor noted that he was determined to end fraud in the county despite malicious efforts by cartels to derail his pursuit for justice.
"We will not relent in the fight against corruption in Nandi County no matter what oppressors of justice use in trying to derail us from repossessing huge parcels of grabbed land in our county," read part of his post.
Sang revisited his 2017 campaign manifesto, where he promised to deal with historical injustices. He said he would fulfill his promises to the electorate no matter the consequences emanating from doing the same.
He asserted that he had resumed to his normal duties as a governor and was ready to continue delivering services to the county residents.
"In my campaign manifesto I pledged to address historical land injustices and I will live up to it," argued Sang.
On Monday, Sang visited DCI offices in Kapsabet to record a statement over uprooting of tea bushes in Kaburet before he was arrested.
