Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria on Friday posted a tweet mocking self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna.

The vocal legislature posted two photos of himself donned in Miguna’s trademark Muslim cap, with the caption "Hey @MigunaMiguna I miss you. Do you miss Kenya?"

The MP's tweet has attracted mixed reactions among Kenyans, with a majority of them eagerly waiting for the Canadian-based lawyer to respond to the tweet.

Miguna was deported to Canada following his involvement in the mock swearing-in of National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga as the people's president on January 30, 2018.

He was later denied entry into the country before being deported to Dubai on April 29 after a three-day standoff at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

This was after the Immigration Department maintained that he has to apply for Kenyan Citizenship before being issued with a new passport.
