Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has mourned former Youth Enterprise Development Fund Board's chairman Bruce Odhiambo.
Mutua took to his official Twitter account to mourn the deceased.
The governor said he on Monday evening visited Odhiambo at Nairobi Hospital where he had been admitted before his demise.
Odhiambo died while undergoing treatment at the facility on Tuesday morning.
Mutua described him as a good man and one of the most creative minds.
“Very sad about passing of my friend Bruce Odhiambo,” Mutua tweed on Tuesday.
“In the last three months, he remained strong even as his sick heart failed him. It was sad to watch him suffer," he added.
President Uhuru Kenyatta led top politicians and Kenyans at large in mourning the late Odhiambo.
In his condolence message, President Kenyatta said the deceased was his friend.
“I offer my deepest condolences to the family and friends of my friend Bruce Odhiambo, following his death. Bruce shared his God-given talents through philanthropy and many benefited from his generosity. God give his family strength to bear this loss,” Kenyatta tweeted.
