More leaders from Kisii County have mourned the death of ex-Bomachoge constituency MP Zephania Nyang'wara.
Kisii County majority leader Timothy Ogugu in his message of condolence to the deceased family said Bomachoge has lost a hero.
"It is sad not only to Nyang'wara's family but, also the whole Kisii county following the demise of Zephaniah. We have lost a hero who dedicated his time during his tenure to serve the electorates," he said.
Ogugu who doubles as Magenche ward MCA assured the bereaved family that he will stand with the family during this trying moment.
"Personally I will stand the ex-lawmaker's family to ensure the late Zephaniah is given a decent sendoff," he noted.
Samuel Nyangeso, a former Kisii town mayor described the deceased as a hardworking man.
"God has snatched from us a hardworking and focused individual who used his own money during his time as Bomachoge MP to pay school fees for poor kids, pay funeral expenses and medical bills for patients without demanding a refund of his money," said Nyangeso.
He asked other leaders to emulate the late ex-MP for the purpose of improving service delivery.
Denis Ombachi Marani MCA challenged leaders to unite to offer necessary support to the family of the deceased during this trying moments.
