This is the latest and one of the most radical moves taken by Twitter in the fight against fake news.

Kenyan Twitter influencers woke up to a rude shock with some losing more than half of their followers.

Among the notable individuals who lost followers include Xtian Dela, Blogger Cyprian Nyakundi, Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, President Uhuru Kenyatta, and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
