Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti was seen pointing at ex-Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama as he addressed mourners at a funeral in Matungulu, Machakos County on Saturday.
This follows Muthama's claims that she has flaws.
Muthama said he will trim Ndeti so that she becomes fit for the Machakos gubernatorial leadership.
He said Ndeti's running mate in the last polls, Peter Mathuki, is a political conman and should be done away with in the looming Machakos gubernatorial by-elections.
"I will tell you time and again without fear or favor that Mathuki is a bad choice for Machakos and shouldn't deputize Wavinya, I know Wavinya isn't that good but I will be there to trim and guide her to be the perfect leader," Muthama said.
"I will speak as she looks at me. Mathuki should be replaced with someone else. If not, there won't be any difference between Mutua's regime and hers," he added.
Muthama said he would rather support Mutua than Ndeti if her running mate Mathuki isn't replaced.
"If Ndeti's running mate isn't changed, I would rather say better the old thief than a new one, that's all," Muthama said.
He said Kambas should support Kalonzo as their flag bearer and avoid being swayed by other presidential candidates who are aiming at dividing votes.
"It took Kalonzo over 30 years of grooming to be a presidential candidate, those thinking that they can outdo him should think twice," he said.
