Leaders from the vast Gusii region have joined hands with family and friends in support of Joseph Mochere's funeral.
Led by County MP Jerusha Momanyi, they said Mr. Mochere, popularly known as Okebiro O'Mose will be given a good send off.
"We lost a super talented person who had a vision in his life and that of his family. We shall help the family in this tragedy," she said.
West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi said Okebiro will be remembered through is comedy.
"Okebiro was a good friend and the West Mugirango locals will remember him for his good and educative comedy. We as leaders will stand with his kids to ensure they go to school," he noted.
Nyaribari Masaba MP Ezekiel Machogu said he will push other politicians from the region to offer financial support to ensure Okebiro is given a good sendoff.
"Okebiro was a talented person who has left behind a young family. I will mobilize leaders to offer necessary financial support to the family," said Machogu.
