Singer Akothee has pointed out mistakes Kenyans make after electing leaders to represent them in various offices.
The singer who has also refused to rule out the chances of joining politics in future has said many Kenyans are not taking up the responsibility of developing this nation.
In a social media post, Akothee said Kenyans don't attend public meetings and rallies organized by their leaders so that they engage them on matters of developing the nation, but only watch televisions from home and later take to social media with endless complaints.
The controversial musician added that such Kenyans who sit at home thinking leaders are not approachable end up cursing their own leaders when faced with problems.
"Do we attend the public meetings or we watch TV at Homes and wait to scream on social media ? I think most of our leaders are approachable , and we can use this platform to bring change other than lamenting and cursing 🤔 I BELIEVE IN CHANGE . It starts with you," read Akothee's post in part.
More so, the singer has also revealed that she is not planning to join politics any time soon but refused to rule it out. Before, Akothee always said no to politics.
"(POLITICS )!!!forget!! I will not drop my lifestyle for the public, bikini kwenda mbele, please give that seat to those with morals and stable in marriage ,leave me alone 😂 politics is meant for people who can lie and get away with it," she said.
