Renowned Kiswahili anchor Mary Kilobi on Thursday publicly displayed her love for her husband.
In a picture shared on her Instagram page, she is seen feeding her smiling husband Francis Atwoli a piece of cake. Atwoli is the Secretary-General of the Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU).
"May the Almighty God continue to bless you, keep you strong, healthy and happy. May He watch over you for us! Unapendwa Ajabu," read part of Kilobi's caption.
Kilobi further wished the COTU boss, whom she termed as Mr Amazing, a happy birthday.
The two lovebirds met years ago when Mary Kilobi was working as an intern at a television station in Uganda.
Atwoli could not hide his love for the beautiful intern, making a pledge that he would wait for her.
The love affair between them became public in 2018, the culmination of years of waiting on the part of Atwoli.
The Kenya Television Network (KTN) anchor has spoken before in glowing terms of her unbounded love for Atwoli who is over twenty years older than her.
Their love has been subject to blistering criticism especially from politicians who contend that the trade union boss is way older than the television anchor.
However, their love has withstood the brutal criticism that it has come under.
