Nyoro said that the truce memorandum he signed with Waititu is not being implemented.

He further claimed that Waititu is still making decisions without consulting him and other county officials.

The deputy governor said the situation is worse than it was before, adding that service delivery in the county could soon be crippled.

"Nothing has changed from the meeting that was convened by Senator Kimani Wamatangi and we fear that things could get worse for Kiambu people," he told journalists in Thika town on Saturday.

Nyoro said that despite the county being allocated Sh13 billion by the national government the money is yet to be utilised, a move he says is hampering service delivery.

He noted that the situation has caused salary delays for county staff.

Nyoro also blamed the poor services in public hospitals on Waitutu's failure to consult county officials in key decision making.

The deputy governor said that his efforts to have Waititu implement the truce has failed.

Waititu and Nyoro fell out before being reconciled in June in a truce meeting convened by Senator Wamatangi and attended by Kiambu politicians.

Nyoro had accused Governor Waititu of being a one-man show and running the county as his home.

Waititu's government has been on the spot following reports of poor service delivery in the county's public hospitals.
