Pastor John Maina Njenga of the Hope and International Ministries has taken a low profile from the limelight.

Njenga was baptised John and denounced the Mungiki sect and its activities.
He says that Bishop Wanjiru was the only servant of God who accepted him.
Njenga says that everyone was running away from him after his release from the King'ong'o prison.
"I owe everything to Bishop Wanjiru because she rescued me and showed me the light (Jesus Christ), Njenga says.
Njenga says that were it not for Bishop Wanjiru's wise counsel and directions, he would be dead today.
Since baptism , the Hope International preacher has been quite and says he is concentrating on Gods word.
