The activist and social media personality revealed the incident in a social media post.

He said that the two made the criminal attempt when he was having coffee in one of the city joints.

The realisation that he didn't have his bag came when he wanted to use his phone.

Mwangi revealed the names of the two suspects as Christopher Maina and Mary Wangechi. He went on to reveal that the two are wanted for stealing in other restaurants.

Here is the activist's post confirming the incident.

"I was having coffee when Christopher Maina and Mary Wangechi decided to steal my laptop bag. I turned to remove my phone and saw them with my bag. I raised my voice and they were arrested by the restaurant security. They're at Central Police and guess what? They are wanted for theft in other restaurants. Lost anything to them? If you have lost something to them, find them at Central Police Station. Ps; They had a bag but when they reached the police station they removed and shared tissue paper. It's clear they're veterans in the game but their luck ran out today."
