Machakos county governor Dr Alfred Nganga Mutua is looking for a family whose photo appeared on social media wearing cloths exhibiting the four Kenyan flag colours.
Posting a photo of a man with his wife and child on his official Facebook page on Saturday, the county boss said that he was happy with the family's spirit of patriotism.
According to the governor, the colourful photo and Kenyan flag outfits impressed him.
"DO YOU KNOW THEM? I am very impressed by the spirit exhibited by this family that made clothes that are our national flag," part of Mutua's post reads.
The county boss went ahead to ask any Kenyan who knows the family to contact him immediately.
"They are LOVING and not hating KENYA. If you know them please let me know so that I may host them for a meal. Please share widely," he noted in the Facebook post.
It's still not yet clear whether the governor managed to get the identity of the family so that he can host them for a meal as a sign of appreciation for their patriotism.
