There is an English saying that goes “never count your chicks before they hatch.” This is the reason you should not say that you have found a “queen” when she hasn’t said “yes I do” just yet. She might be having other plans when you think that she is all yours.
Just some three months ago I was reading a story of a university student who had committed suicide because he could not handle a heartbreak. The reason the young man could not contain himself is that he had given it all to one girl in the hope that she will be his wife.
In the suicide note that circulated on social media pages, the young man had expressly said that “it broke my heart to find you with another man”. We need to understand that as long as you haven’t put a ring on her finger, she isn’t really that yours. If I ask you to prove if the girlfriend you are messing around with is your woman, what will you say? Probably an illegitimate child will be mentioned.
Another incident is whereby, you think that everything is right in your relationship, but all of a sudden she asks for a break. You are left wondering, “What is the break for?” Other girls say they need a break, yet they mean "it's over". Imagine you are loved this minute and the following minute you are single, just like that. It is hard, so don’t keep all your eggs in one basket.
Therefore, in order to be safe and avoid being heartbroken, just don’t put all your hopes on one girl that she will always be there, things change and you might end up being hurt.
