Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga has accused the ODM party of hiring goons to beat up Jubilee campaign agents in Kibra on Saturday.
In a post on her official Facebook page, Omanga accused the party for condoning violence even though their opponents were peacefully campaigning.
The vocal Senator further noted that the handshake and good electoral laws could not salvage ODM from their 'primitive' habit of using violence to intimidate their competitors into giving in ahead of elections.
The self-styled 'Mama Miradi' further rubbished claims by ODM that a group of people sent by Jubilee were buying National Identification cards from the unsuspecting residents, terming them 'outlandish' lies.
"ODM has gone back to factory settings, that of mayhem and unleashing crude violence - with unmatched ruthlessness - on its peaceful Jubilee opponent. Not even the handshake could tame these bloodthirsty goons. Not even our progressive electoral laws. Wow! And guess the silly excuse they give as part of damage control? That IDs were being bought. Isnt it laughable? Who in his/her right mind can believe this outlandish lie if not ODM slaves? Mark you, this comes barely a week after they accused IEBC of planning to rig the Kibra byelection," read part of Omanga's post.
The 2017 Nairobi Woman Rep aspirant also noted that ODM should be awarded a trophy for being the most violent political outfit in North of Limpopo and South of Sahara.
On Saturday, Jubilee campaign agents were attacked by goons alleged to be allied to ODM. The attackers claimed that the agents were buying IDs from unsuspecting Kibra locals.
Their campaign vehicles were destroyed and a number of them sustained injuries.
