According to Jaguar, Harmonize should have performed for his fans who had turned up in large numbers to support him despite the problems he had with the organizers.

Jaguar was speaking during an interview with radio Citizen.

"It is a very sad situation but I blame Harmonize. Kenyans have supported him throughout his career, they have supported nearly all the international artists who have come to perform here. Fans use the money to call and request songs on the radio. The fans are the ones who get you to the top," Jaguar stated.

Jaguar who was a full-time musician before venturing into politics made a lot of hits. His best song, of course, being 'Kigeugeu'.

"Personally as an artist, I cannot refuse to perform to my fans especially after receiving a deposit. The organizers may be wrong but that can be dealt with after the show instead of letting the fans down," the Starehe MP noted.

Jaguar's criticism comes almost a week after Harmonize refused to perform at the Chaget Festival claiming he had not been paid.

As a result, chaos erupted during the event leaving some of the fans to be injured with others losing their valuables.
