self-declared NRM general lawyerMiguna Miguna has named three prominent Kenyans he wants to be jailed first before any other Kenyan over contempt of court.
Miguna who is in Canada said Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i, Immigration PS Gordon Kihalang'wa and Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet deserve to go to jail over contempt.
The three were widely named by Miguna as people behind his troubles after he oversaw opposition chief Raila Odinga's swearing in as the people's president on January 30 last year.
Miguna made the remark in a tweet in response to a story in one of the local dailies where it reported that the High Court in Nairobi had sentenced the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Defense Saitoti Torome to six months in jail for defying a court order.
"This is a positive development. However, all contemnors should serve long jail terms. We must avoid hypocrisy, cowardice and selective justice," Miguna tweeted.
"Start with Fred Matiang'i, Gordon Kihalang'wa and Joseph Boinnet: Let them be jailed for disobeying 13 Court Orders."
The jailed PS's ministry had been directed by the court to pay a family which the State had taken its land Sh17.2 million in compensation but the ministry declined.
Matiang'i, Kihalang'wa and Boinnet are on record having defied summons to appear in person in court to explain circumstances under which Miguna was deported from Kenya.
