Different politicians have come out to support or to be against the allegations on different grounds.

The president himself wants people to focus their energy on development and making sure that his four pillars of development become a reality.

Since making the claims, Murathe has been seen to be close to NASA principle and Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi.

It's as a result of this that the Laikipia Women Representative Catherine Waruguru decided to take a jibe at Mudavadi.

She categorically singled Mudavadi as the one who wants to benefit from the situation in order to get central Kenya votes with the help of Murathe.

"political opportunists like Mudavadi who is hiding behind other candidates who are lying to him that if he stays close to them  they will give him votes from Mt Kenya, there is no one here (in Mt Kenya) who can ‘carries’ other peoples vote.'

She was clearly indicating that Murathe has no political say in Mt Kenya and will not bring any numbers to Mudavadi.

She went on to slam former Gatanga legislator  Peter Kenneth and former presidential Candidate Martha Karua as people who are taking advantage of the current misunderstanding in Jubilee party to make themselves relevant again.
