Gure lost to Anab Sugow of Jubilee party in the hotly contested election.

She has, however, remained silent as 2022 succession politics start to take shape in North Eastern and the country at large.

The former Wiper politician had taken pride in empowering young girls through education.

In her last public appearance in January 2017, Gure assured her supporters that she will make a political comeback.

The Wiper politician said that she has unfinished business adding that her resolve to empower women is unstoppable.

Gure's political absence and silence are now worrying her supporters as 2022 succession politics take shape.

According to political pundits, Gure has a chance of a comeback in 2022 depending on how the current MP performs.

“She can make a comeback in 2022 because of the zeal to empower the girls,” Peter Ngure a political pundit says.
