A man in Nyamira County was on Saturday night beaten to death by angry village members. According to the eye witness, Joe Clemmoh, villagers of Gesiaga stormed his home yard at around 7:30 pm beating him uncontrollably and left him in worst condition.
Narrating the incident, Joe said the man who named him as Isoe Obaga had earlier on the day fought his young uncle Abere Nyabute with her two daughters over land issues. They belong to Bwo Baga family.
"Obaga and his two daughters went to their young man who calls him Uncle. They beated him severely with a machete injuring him seriously, " Joe Clemmoh told hivisasa.com
"This was due to land issues the boy had with his uncle, " he added
Upon noticing the incident, villagers were angered making them storm man's place fighting him with various dangerous equipment
"They went to his home where he was alone injuring him with all sorts of equipment."
The man was immediately rushed to the hospital but succumbed to injuries at 4 am. The body has been kept at Nyamira general hospital.The boy is also nursing serious injuries at Bwomboga Nursing Home
