Kiambu Governor Ferdinand was on Sunday evening found himself on the receiving end after a crowd shouted him down in the presence of Deputy President.
Waititu who was in the company of DP had a hard time to calm down an angry crowd who shouted him down.
This came after the DP in the company other politicians had stopped at Githurai to speak to residents. In a video shared online, the crowd is heard chanting 'akwende uko' slogans which loosely means 'Go away'.
He didn't have a chance to address the residents to seemed filled with fury.
This comes a time after the county head was grilled by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission( EACC) over the loss of millions in his county.
The county boss has been in the spotlight over claims of acquisition of multimillion-shilling properties in Nairobi’s central business district, notably Delta Hotel and Jamii Bora House, Runda and Migaa, with his critics saying he has acquired them using stolen county money.
However, he has defended himself from any wrongdoing blaming his political stand to the current woes.
