Billionaire businessman Chris Kirubi made the first public appearance in as any months on Monday in the ongoing Blue Economy conference.
Early this year, Kirubi was admitted in a US hospital following an attack by cancer and stayed there for close to four months.
At the conference, an excited Kirubi, also believed to be a power broker, tweeted about his optimism in the country's blossoming economy.

He was seen mingling with top leaders among them President Uhuru Kenyatta and Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.
There after, who mostly spends his time at the coast, took a photo with Uhuru, terming his as 'his old friend'.
