A former KCSE student at Elimu Bora Secondary School in Mandera Town is being held by police for allegedly plotting to kill President Kenyatta and National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale.
According to a police source, the student is alleged to have sent a written message to President Kenyatta and Aden Duale in the English Paper One (Functional Skills) answer booklet threatening to eliminate them at an unknown date.
The Elimu Bora student is who was produced before Mandera resident Magistrate Duncan Mtai on Friday is set to appear in court on Monday to face charges of a murder plot.
It is said that the candidate was tracked using his KCSE registration and school admission number to his roots by investigating police.
The incident happens barely a fortnight after several students of Ambira High school were captured in a viral video hurling the unspeakable to Interior CS Fred Matiangi and her Education counterpart Ambassador Amina Mohammed.
