Former Kisii Senator Chris Obure has said that opposition leader Raila Odinga will not make it to State House in 2022.
Obure said Raila has an uphill task to make Jubilee party collapse.
"Raila has a bad history in the country's politics. Kenyans won't vote for him in 2022 because he has always been a failure. Deputy President will beat him hands down in 2022," he said.
Obure insisted that the former prime minister's style of politics won't enable him to win votes.
He, therefore, challenged politicians from Kisii and Nyamira counties to join DP Ruto's camp because he will be the next president.
"As a community we should not continue being in the political cold supporting Raila who fails in every election he contest. 2022 Kisii and Nyamira politicians should rally behind DP Ruto who is a strong candidate," he added.
Obure who decamped ODM party to Jubilee party during the 2017 polls appealed to Kisii residents not to elect a leader based on his or her political party.
He was speaking on Monday at Suneka market in Bonchari during the official launch Huduma Namba.
