A tearful Miriam Kimani, mother to the late Monica Kimani, has said she will never forgive Joseph Kuria Irungu.Irungu, alias Joe Jowie, has been arrested as the key suspect in the murder.
Police said Jowie is the man last seen leaving the deceased’s Lamuria Garden estate house where her body was found the next day in a murder case most brutal.
Her hands and legs had been tied, mouth taped shut and neck slit open.
Speaking for the first time in an exclusive interview since her daughter was brutally murdered; the mother said she has been in untold pain.
“My heart is bleeding over my daughter’s murder. We do not sleep here because of the pain and the many things being said about Monica. I want you to tell Joe that I will never forgive him,” the mother said as tears came down her cheeks.
Jowie and his lover Jacque Maribe will next week be charged with murder of Monica.
Detectives said they have combed enough evidence to sustain a charge of murder against Jowie.
