Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna has come out guns blazing and slammed the March 9th 2018 handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
In a Facebook post, Miguna claimed that through the handshake, President Uhuru-led government has looted over Sh100 billion shillings.
"Since March 9, 2018 'HandCheque', the Uhuru Kenyatta despotic regime has looted more than Shs. 100 BILLION SHILLINGS. They have bankrupted the country and subverted the Constitution multiple times," reads part his Facebook post.
The former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant further lamented that "Kenyans are poorer and starving" and challenged them to wake up and stand for what is just for them.
Miguna further asserted that the handshake did not improve lives of Kenyans but claimed it only "made Uhuru Kenyatta more repressive, abusive, exploitative and tribalistic."
Since he was forcefully bundled out of the country, the controversial lawyer has been a great critic of the Uhuru-led government and his working partnership with ODM leader Raila Odinga.
The defiant barrister was deported as a result of his role in Raila's mock swearing-in as the people's president on January 30 2018.
Raila's former advisor has also been firing at his former boss of betraying Kenyans by working with Jubilee government.
