Speaking on KTN's Point Blank Wednesday, the leader urged the President to prove his determination to rid the nation of corruption by firing his officials implicated in the vice.

He called upon Uhuru to begin with a number of Cabinet Secretaries whose names and ministries have featured in some of the latest scandals.

He noted that being repeatedly mentioned in corruption is reason enough for Uhuru to fire the CSs, to allow the investigative bodies to probe the matter without interference.

Mudavadi urged the group to not even wait to be sacked but should exit by their own free will.

"If you are constantly being mentioned in graft; if you are becoming a regular visitor to the DCI (Directorate of Criminal Investogations or EACC (Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission)what image are you giving to the government you represent?

These are people who should actually say Mr President it is not tenable to continue serving, therefore I quit,” said Mudavadi.

This comes at a time when several of Uhuru's officials have been implicated in corruption, among them his deputy William Ruto whose name has featured in many scandals.

Others are Cabinet Secretaries Najib Balala (Tourism and Wildlife), Mwangi Kiunjuri (Agriculture) and Henry Rotich (National Treasury).
