A section of Nyamira residents have reacted after Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama was spotted in a undisclosed place wearing slippers.
The residents said Nyagarama style of wearing in the recent days reveals that he is tired.
"This man is tired. How can he wear slippers and pose for a photo? As Nyamira people we will continue suffering in the hands of the ageing governor who has nothing in store for us," said Joseph Gichana.
Maranga Nyakundi argued that the county boss has never been serious.
"Nyagarama is not a serious leader. He is running Nyamira county as his own kiosk. There will be development in Nyamira until Nyagarama leaves office in 2022," noted Nyakundi.
John Orioki appealed to the county boss to wear slippers when he is in his house.
"Recently we show him wearing open shoes to attend official meetings and now he is in slippers. It is high time anyone responsible for the governor's dress code to ensure he wears slippers when he is in his house but, not in the public. He is bringing shame," he noted.
Orioki termed Nyagarama as a failure.
