Makueni Governor Prof Kivutha Kibwana has won many hearts following his outstanding development.
This has earned him a ticket by netizens to vie for the presidency in 2022.
On the other hand, Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i through his no-nonsense approach has earned the admiration of Kenyans in the different dockets he has served in since 2013.
Thus, the combination of the two leaders could augur well for Kenyans, political analyst Dr Onyango Ochieng states.
"Kivutha is frugal, meaning that every coin he has in his pocket he wants it to count, he is visionary; he is a leader who takes people not where they want to go, but where they ought to go, " argues the analyst Onyango.
He further remarks that "Matiang'i would make a very good executive Prime Minister who executes while Kivutha has a clear road map where he wants this country to go."
According to the analyst, the Constitution should be changed to accommodate the pair where Kibwana will be the president and Matiang'i be the executive Prime Minister.
The analyst holds the view that Governor Kibwana will steer the nation while CS Matiang'i executes the duties leading to a perfect combination.
The two leaders have on separate occasions been asked by Kenyans online to consider going for the top seat in the 2022 general polls.
They have, however, steered clear of this political debate maintaining that they will offer the best they can to Kenyans through the positions they are serving in currently.
