Former presidential candidate Abduba Dida has denied claims of operating a brothel at his South C home in Nairobi.
Dida says that he is not aware of any pornographic filming at his home as the media and police are speculating.
The former presidential candidate, in an interview with a local daily on Sunday, said that reports that he is operating a brothel and engaging in immoral activities are false.
"Let the police do their investigation but what I know is that no kind of such things has been happening at my home," he said.
The former presidential candidate said that he will defend himslef against the accusations.
Police raided Dida's home in Nairobi's South C on Thursday last week, confiscating equipment and material linked to sexual activities.
Police claim that they seized high resolution cameras which they believe were being used to shoot pornographic material.
Detectives also allegedly seized contraceptive pills, a makeshift studio and sex enhancing drugs.
Campaign material the former presidential candidate used in 2017 polls were allegedly found in one of the rooms at the apartment.
According to police, they got a tip off of suspicious activities at the apartments from neighbours before they made raids last week.
These allegations, if proved, will taint Dida's reputation.
The former presidential candidate has portrayed himself as a trusted and morally upright leader.
