When starting any entrepreneurial journey, self-belief may not be a hundred per cent, and thus more often than not, most entrepreneurs will choose to continue working their salaried employment and build their business as a side hustle.

Am sure that resonates with most of us.

But how do we handle the pressure that comes with the need to be in the right state of mind to serve in your employment or studies and at the same time keep growing your business?

Here are a few tips I suggest to anyone starting out a business and has been forced to work part-time.

1. Write down your daily schedule

With work, school and side hustle pressure all pressing in on you, what you need to ease all that pressure is the clarity on how your time is to be spent.

Take some time and write down a schedule for your day making sure to make the most of your free time to grow your business but still have enough time to rest and reflect.

 2. Get the most appropriate help

Despite the much self-belief that you may be having, everyone eventually needs help.

Get the most appropriate help without seeming desperate.

This help could be someone to pick supplies for you and make deliveries.

It could also be someone that helps you open your shop and close it on time in case your day gets interfered with by unforeseen circumstances.

It could also be someone that helps you advertise your products on the right platforms when you can't because you've got work or class to attend.

As you seek this help, be careful not to be taken advantage of by opportunistic people that may be looking for a pest relationship with your business.

 3. Keep your job/education

We often think that when going into business we'll have a boom in that first instance.

The truth of the matter though, success doesn't come overnight, and so you'll need that job or education to keep you up most of the time as you work towards your big break.

Keeping your job or education also gives you a chance to get more experience that would be valuable in the long run as your business picks.

There is a breaking point though, and at times it may get too hard to persevere, but my advice is don't quit, especially when it comes to education. #hivisasaoriginal
