The lawmaker reiterated that he will not be told how he should serve the people of Bonchari.

"I was elected to serve the people transparently and those questioning my style of leadership should look for something constructive to do because I am not going to be dictated by anyone on how I should distribute CDF money for the initiation of development projects," he said.

He accused former MP John Opore of sponsoring goons to spread propaganda across the constituency with an aim of tainting his name.

"The electorates were tired with Opore's leadership and voted him out. I don't understand why Opore is using some youths to spread propaganda on social media about me. I will not succumb to the falsehood being spread on social media platforms," he added.

The MP told residents that his door is always open for consultation and clarification, adding that the residents should feel free to walk in at any time to discuss development matters and chat the way forward.

Oyioka was speaking on Friday in Kisii town.
