Moiben Member of Parliament Silas Tiren has condemned a Tuesday terror attack at the DusitD2 complex in 14 Riverside, Nairobi.
Suspected assailants stormed into the area that hosts several offices and hotels at around 3 pm.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Tiren termed the attack as cowardly.
"I join hands with all Kenyans to condemn the cowardly attack on innocent people at Dusit Hotel Complex in Nairobi. I wish those who have been injured a speedy recovery and my sincere sympathies to families that may have lost their loved ones," posted the MP.
"Even as rescue operations are ongoing, I commend our security forces for the swift response to neutralize the attack and rescue those who were trapped," he added.
The MP also echoed the government's call to Kenyans against sharing information regarding the attack noting that "doing so would be glorifying the work of terrorists."
