The County Government of Kwale has expressed its commitment to ensure all children across the County attend school.
Deputy Governor Fatuma Achani while issuing cheques worth Sh5 million to 541 students from Ukunda ward, called on all education stakeholders to join hands with Kwale teachers especially in secondary schools to deal with students discipline.
Achani decried cases of an increased school unrest saying it has been a major challenge in the country.
She challenged education stakeholders saying it is high time for them to face the real issues that cause these unrests and come up with lasting solutions.
This even as the Kwale County Government aside Sh43 million to cater for fees for all students joining local technical institutions within the County.
The DG announced that the county government has now increased the amount of money that is given to each student joining and continuing local technical institutions from Sh12,000 Sh15,000.
