There was drama at Huruma estate in Eldoret town on Wednesday after a woman caught her husband red-handed with her best friend.
The woman, Mary Wairimu had been tipped off by her neighbour that her husband had brought in another lady after she had gone for work.
Wairimu acted on the tipoff and immediately rushed to her place from work and that is when she caught the two in the act half naked.
"My neighbour called me at around 11 am and told me that she had seen a woman entering my house. I had been suspecting my husband of adultery and so I told her to inform me in case she sees something suspicious," Wairimu explained.
Apparently, the wife had asked one of her neighbours to be checking out on the husband after she suspected him.
"Wairimu told me she suspected her husband was having an affair with her best friend. So she asked me to be on the lookout and inform her if I see any suspicious woman at her house," Joyce Chemutai, the neighbour who had tipped off Wairimu said.
Wairimu engaged the lady in a fierce fistfight as the husband tried to separate them.
Some neighbours were heard saying it was not the first time the husband had brought into the house another woman while the wife is away.
They claimed he was having at least three extra-marital affairs.
