Despite local media reports that Raila Odinga held 4-hour closed door meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta at the Coast, the ODM leader has vehemently denied the claims.
An impeccable source within Orange House house however maintains that the two held two meetings in which they discussed progress on Building Bridges initiate among other issues.
"The question is not about whether they met, rather, it should be what they discussed. They met twice and a lot off discussion was done on the peace deal.
"They also focused on region where they will make joint rallies and possible appointments to be done in the near future," said the source in confidence.
But in an interview with Citizen TV, Raila termed the reports as 'media creation' adding that he was not aware of the same.
"I have also read papers on the 4-hour meeting. This is just media creation and I am not aware of such a meeting. Maybe they should have elaborated more to us."
When asked about the meeting, spokesman Dennis Onyango also denied knowledge of the meeting but conceded that the two regularly meet.
"I am not aware of that Kilifi meeting because he has never been there. however, on the two meeting, it is no longer news," he said.
