On Tuesday, Aldai MP Cornelly Serem had claimed that Muhoho's company, Protech Investment Limited, had imported aboyt 180, 000 metric tonnes of sugar.

But at Gigiri on Thursday, Uhuru warned politicians and government officials politicising crackdown against corrupt officers.

"People are out there bundling my brother yesterday. I have no problem. If he is guilty let him be dealt with. What's the problem?" he said.

Uhuru added: We must develop trust in our institutions that they will protect the innocent and punish the guilty."

So divisive has been the war against graft that politicians within Jubilee party have openly differed.

And the divisions could break the relationship between Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto, whose allies have openly accused OP of frustrating his 2022 ambitions through graft war.
