Kisii County Residents and Visitors from all parts of the County will celebrate this year's mashujaa day in style when Kenya federation women Division one league is expected to take place on the same day at Gusii Stadium same venue with the national event.
Gusii Starlets FC who are number two on the league table with17 Points will be hosting Bulemia starlets FC on 20th Saturday in front of Kisii County Governor James Ongwae and other invited Guests.
Last Wednesday, Gusii Starlets beat Bunyore Starlets 4-2 at Gusii stadium a move that has motivated them to do better this coming Saturday for they will be cheered with a good number of fans who will also be attending Mashujaa day celebrations.
Speaking to Hivi Sasa on Wednesday Morning, Gusii starlets Coach Laitred Oyori said as the host of the most awaited match, they are hoping to do better.
"Football is football. What we need now are points. Right now we are at Number two with 17 points, 4 points below Nyuki FC who are number one with 22 points. We will be hosting the match and am confident that we will win," He said.
The match is expected to kick off at 1 pm.
