Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has lead his county in joining hands with Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago and his family in mourning one of their own.
Mandago lost his elder brother John Kinyor Mandago in mysterious circumstances.
It is alleged that the deceased's body was on Tuesday found dumped in a hotel building under construction in Chepkanga area, Eldoret town in Uasin Gishu County.
Jeremiah Rotich, the proprietor of the hotel said it was the plumber who discovered the body.
“The plumber was looking for a tin when he walked to the area under construction and found the body of a well-dressed man,” said Rotich.
"On behalf of the County Government of Mombasa I wish to join the family friends and relatives of my Uasin Gishu counterpart H.E Jackson Mandago in mourning his brother John Kinyor. You are in our prayers as you prepare to lay John to rest. Poleni sana," read Joho's condolences shared on his official Facebook page
Police have since launched investigations to unravel the cause of the deceased's sudden death.
The body of the deceased was on Friday moved from Eldoret Hospital mortuary awaiting burial on Saturday.
