The two have been engaging in nasty debates and exchange of bitter words as each one of them believes that he is the Rift Valley’s Kingpin.

Senator Moi should, however, drop his presidential bid and support DP Ruto due to his experience in politics.

Unlike Moi, Ruto joined politics in the early 90s. He was the Organising Secretary of Youth for Kanu '92 (YK92), a group that was formed to drum up support for retired president Daniel arap Moi in the 1992 election.

The man from Sugoi, Turbo constituency, joined parliament in 1997 representing the then Eldoret North constituency for over ten years.

By 2022, DP Ruto will have more experience in leadership, on the virtue of having been a Deputy President for 10 years.

On his part, Senator Moi joined politics in 2013 as an MP for Baringo Central and later became the Senator for Baringo County in 2013.

For this reason, the son of the retired president Moi is of no match to the self-proclaimed hustler when it comes to politics and leadership experience. He should, therefore, support DP Ruto in the coming general elections and he can try his luck Later.
