Veteran journalist David Makali now says exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna is in need of counselling following the events that presided the January 30 mock swearing in of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Makali said the controversial lawyer is still bitter after he fell out with Odinga in two instances.
Miguna worked as Odinga's adviser on coalition affairs when the latter was Prime Minister in the Grand Coalition government before he was controversially sacked.
They two mended fences after the disputed 2017 general election and Miguna was instrumental in Raila's January 30 oath as people's president.
The marriage ended a few weeks later when the lawyer was deported and the ODM leader entered into a peace deal with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to Makali, Miguna has refused to accept and move on, and that is why he has resulted to launching a scathing attack on his former boss "to profit self".
In a tweet on Sunday, the journalist, who once vied for the Bungoma senatorial seat, said Miguna should stop his criticism on the former Prime Minister since he is responsible of "promoting" him to Kenyans.
"He needs counseling. He is a jilted lover. Twice he's worked for/with Raila and turned up with unsavoury tales, including revealing campaign secrets (to profit self) and now he is back grovelling. Granted everybody has his foibles, he should be held to account for promoting Raila to us," Makali posted.
In a quick rejoinder, Miguna noted "Finally, I resigned from ODM in 2011. I was not in ODM in 2013 or 2017. Between 2009 and 2011 when I served as the PM's adviser, I was the only one PNU feared and could not bribe. There is absolutely no campaign secret I shared. Nor did @JubileePartyK get any secrets from me.
"You are an embarrassment, Makali. You know very well that I have remained steadfast on the cause for justice and freedom - the same cause I was pursuing on January 30, 2018. You also know that @RailaOdinga betrayed Kenyans including me. So, stop exhibiting your cartel surrogacy."
